LAST YEAR, BRIDESMAIDS director Paul Feig announced he was making an all-female reboot of Ghostbusters to much excitement.

Well, the cast of the reboot has finally been revealed, and it’s a good ‘un.

Original Ghostbuster Bill Murray weighed in on his favourites to take the roles – Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Emma Stone and Linda Cardellini – and it turns out he was right about two.

Today, Feig finally shared his picks in a (vague) tweet – and here they are:

Going clockwise, we have Kristen Wiig (Bridesmaids), frequent Feig collaborator Melissa McCarthy (Bridesmaids and The Heat), Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones (both currently actors on Saturday Night Live).

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the film is due to begin shooting in New York this summer.

Could this be the dream team we’ve been hoping for? We’ll have to wait and see.
